노부영 연령별 추천책 단계

PreStep (태교부터)
엄마가 아이에게 영어를 처음 접하게 해주는 단계입니다. 주로 엄마가 영어로 불러줄 수 있는 자장가나 영어권 전래동요 등으로 구서오디어 있습니다. 사랑이 듬뿍 담긴 엄마의 따뜻한 음성과 함께 부드럽게 들려오는 자장가와 전래동요는 아이가 자연스럽고 즐겁게 영어와 첫 만남을 이룰 수 있도록 도와주도록 합니다.

Step 1  (만 6개월부터)

리듬과 운율, 소리의 높고 낮음, 액센트에 흥미를 느끼고 좋아하는 시기입니다. 아이들이 영어의 음가와 높고 낮음, 액센트 등에 익숙할 수 있도록 합니다.

Step 2  (만18개월부터)

기본적인 개념을 영어로 배우는 시기입니다. 사물의 이름, 색깔, 숫자 등 간단한 사물의 개념을 익히게 되며 우리말과 영어를 동시에 가르쳐 주시면 사물의 개념을 익히는데 더욱 좋습니다.

이 시기의 아이들은 우리말을 짧은 문장으로 구성할 수 있게 됩니다. 아이들이 문장에 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 조금 긴 문장의 책을 읽어 주거나들려주면 좋습니다.

Step 4  (만 30개월부터)

문자에 대해서 관심을 가지는 시기입니다. 말과 글이 다르다는 것을 알려 주는 시기이기도 합니다.

알파벳과 파닉스를 접하게 하여 문자에 대해 호기심을 느끼게 해주는 것도 좋습니다.

스토리 위주의 책들을 보는 시기입니다.

이 시기의 노부영 책들은 문장은 많이 길어졌지만, 아직 대화체나 구어체가 많고 반복되는 문장이 많아 그림만으로도 이야기를 이해할 수 있는 책들이 대부분입니다.

Step 6  (만 3세반부터)

아이가 재미있는 모험과 상상의 세계에 강한 호기심을 느끼는 시기입니다.

아이가 책을 통해 마음껏 상상력을 펼칠 수 있도록 도와 줍니다 그러나 두려움과 공포도 커지는 시기이므로 두려움을 이해하고 해소할 수 있는 책을 보여주는 것도 좋습니다.

본격적으로 문어체가 많이 나오게 되며, 단어 수준도 점점 어려워지기 시작합니다. 하지만, 노부영 1단계부터 꾸준히 영어동요와 동화책을 접한 아이라면 이런 정도는 충분히 즐길 수 있습니다.

이 시기의 아이들은 좋아하는 친구가 생기고 어린이집이나 유치원을 다니면서 집단 생활을 하게 됩니다.

아이가 타인과의 관계, 자아에 대해 보다 생각하고 자존심을 가지며, 친구와의 우정을 소중하게 생각할 수 있도록 해 주시면 좋습니다.
